Here is an example of some of the techniques used in assembling a Paper Creek Model Works kit and the tools needed:

1) Tools used for assembling kit; X-acto knife with #11 blades, thin pointed tweezers, 12" thin metal straight edge, cutting matt, toothpicks, white glue, fine paint brush, acrylic paint.

2) Close up view of fine paintbrush and sharp point tweezers.

3) Use thin metal straight-edge to aid in folding.

4) For a sharper fold, align the edge of pointed tweezers with score and fold back.

5) With a fine brush, paint the edge of paper to match the color on the printed face. Painting from the back helps keep unwanted paint from the front surface.

6) Carefully apply glue with a toothpick. Hold small parts with tweezers.

7) Position parts with tweezers. Window frames are layered on walls.

8) Cut and glue acetate window “glass” to back of walls and lower sash. Position window opened or closed.
